Exmoor Zoo

Exmoor zoo is a unique rural zoo set into a valley in North Devon. The combination of some very rare and unusual animals seldom found in other zoos (along with everybody’s favourites) and possibly the best interactive encounter sessions and talks to be found in any UK zoo, make for a real “must visit” for any animal lovers and families whilst in the area. A hidden gem that once found is often revisited enabling the visitor to experience the lives of animals from all around the world in the different seasons of Exmoor. The tranquility of Exmoor, the beauty of rural Devon and the close proximity of the world’s most special animals is a “must visit” experience for anybody! From the world’s fastest animal, to the fabled creatures of stories, the notoriety of the “Exmoor – Beast”, the chance to hold and interact (the phobia of spiders of snakes “the creepy and the scary”) and the fun and exploration of a lovely natural zoo – a visit has something for everyone! Do you know what a tenrec or binturong is ?? come along and find out some fascinating facts at one of our daily activities running every ½ hour throughout the summer which are all free and included in your entry fee.
