SHOPPING

What will you find in Watchet?

We don’t pretend to be the biggest or the busiest town centre, but we have plenty to make your stay here in Watchet easy.

The first question I’m usually asked about shopping is where can I buy food?
We have a great selection of Pubs and Cafes for food out, takeaways for lazy days, but for self catering we have a Co-operative Store on Swain Street and on Liddymore Road you will find another Co-operative and a Radstock Co-op. We have Richard Little Family Butchers on Swain Street and up on South Road there is the Veggie Patch. For something a little different Sam’s Deli has a selection of Salads, cold meats and Scotch eggs!

For clothing items we have Little Lighthouse for childrens clothing, Clathers for adults and St Margarets Hospice Shop (probably the busiest charity shop in West Somerset!) for everything else.

Antiques and Collectables
We have a really great selection of Antiques and Retro shops. Top end of Swain Street has Adorium Antiques, Beedle Coram, the Treasury, Cotton Gallery and Maries Place. Then on the Esplanade you can find Rogers upstairs in the Marina Shop. Great place for a little mooch around!

You can find great gifts in New Horizons, the Cornerhouse collection, the Visitor Centre, Cotton Street and the Marina shop. Books at East Quay, the Community Bookshop and WSR station.

Alberts ‘Ardware has all those bits and pieces you can’t find anywhere else …………

And Perfectly Lovely Interiors have ……….. perfectly lovely interiors!

And I’m pretty sure if I’ve missed anyone they will tell me very soon!
