In its harbourside location East Quay is about culture, purpose and imagination.

East Quay is a space for people to gather, imagine and a place to support creative practitioners and with a Gallery which brings national and international artists to the South West.

Contains Art are a not-for-profit social enterprise who believe that who you are, what you have and where you live should not restrict your opportunities to see, take part in and create some of the best art in the world. Contains Art will run the programme for the gallery and education space, showing exhibitions and running courses and workshops that demonstrate how art is a powerful force for change.

Albatross Print Studio is a new venture for artist-printmakers Sue Lowe and Sarah Ward. Albatross aims to advance and celebrate fine art printmaking. High quality artists’ original prints will be available to view and purchase, with opportunities to see and learn about the processes and skills used in their making. The studio plans to offer courses and workshops for all levels of ability and experience and to offer resources to professional printmakers through a membership scheme.  Albatross is currently seeking one or two artists to share our new studio. Find out more.

Two Rivers Paper craft hand-made beautiful rag papers for artists and designers.  Two Rivers is dedicated to maintaining the English tradition of making the finest hand-made watercolour paper for artists.

Geckoella is a specialist consultancy covering geology, ecology and heritage. East Quay will house their exciting new geology workshop and rock room where they will cut and analyse rocks and minerals and carry out fossil preparation. Geckoella promises that from time to time there will also be a few big fossil surprises for everyone to see and enjoy.

Artist studios and workshops can be found in the containers in the Court Yard area and on the first level.

East Quay Kitchen  is a restaurant with Mediterranean flavours. It services the open courtyard where you can get a coffee and cake or a lovely meal.
