WATCH OUT IN WATCHET!

WATCH OUT IT’S HALF TERM!
Do you live in Watchet or are you visiting Watchet this half term?

WATCH OUT FOR THE TIDES!
If the tide is high, grab your crab nets and get crabbing on Watchet Harbour Wall. The dredger has been churning up the silt, those crabs will be heading to the surface for clearer water!

If the tide is low get down to Helwell Bay or Kilve Beach for a fossil hunt.  Grab a fossil hunting leaflet from the visitor-centre .

WATCH OUT FOR THE SEAGULLS!                                                                                   
Grab an Ice Cream, fish and chips or a sandwich from town sit on the Esplanade and watch the dredger at work in the Marina as the tide goes out!

WATCH OUT FOR BARGAINS!                                                                                       
The car boot is on at Blue Anchor on Saturday afternoon, bank holiday Monday and Wednesday afternoon!
1pm for sellers and 2pm for buyers. Social distancing will be in place.

On Wednesday 2nd June the Watchet Market will take place on the Esplanade from 9.30 until 4.00.

On Sunday 5th June visit the Street Fair on Watchet Esplanade. Grab a drink, something to eat and sit on the West Pier watching the world go by.

WATCH OUT FOR TRAINS!                                                                                           
The WSR have train excursions running from Minehead to Watchet and Bishops Lydeard to Watchet during this week. Check out west-somerset-railway.co.uk/timetables

WATCH OUT FOR THE ENVIROMENT!
Why not pop to the visitor centre and borrow a litter picker and bag and do a #2minutelitterpick and then post your picture on Social Media.

Use your smart phone or borrow one!! (make sure you have data) to go on a  Watchet Story Walk or how about a Watchet Palaeo-Quest.

Take a guided walk with Watchets Bell Man. Leaving the Visitor Centre at 11am on Wednesday 2nd June £6 per person Children under 12 free.

 

 

 

 

What can we do this weekend?

EVERYTHING IS STILL CLOSED!!

Its Bank Holiday Weekend, all indoor entertainment is still closed and we don’t know what to do.

So here’s a quick guide to having some fun this weekend!
