What can we do this weekend?

EVERYTHING IS STILL CLOSED!!

Its Bank Holiday Weekend, all indoor entertainment is still closed and we don’t know what to do.

So here’s a quick guide to having some fun this weekend!

Saturday, Sunday and Monday the tide is high in the morning, grab your crab nets and get crabbing on Watchet Harbour Wall. The dredger has been churning up the silt, those crabs will be heading to the surface for clearer water!

Grab an Ice Cream on the Esplanade and watch the dredger at work in the Marina as the tide goes out!

The car boot is on at Blue Anchor on Saturday afternoon………………..and on Monday afternoon YIPPEE!
1pm for sellers and 2pm for buyers. Social distancing will be in place.

Its low tide Saturday, Sunday, Monday afternoon, get down to Helwell Bay or Kilve Beach for a fossil hunt.

On Saturday pop to the visitor centre and borrow a litter picker and bag and do a #2minutelitterpick and then post your picture on Social Media.

Use your smart phone or borrow one!! (make sure you have data) to go on a  Watchet Story Walk or how about a Watchet Palaeo-Quest.

On Sunday visit the Street Fair on Watchet Esplanade. Grab a drink, something to eat and sit on the West Pier watching the world go by.

Take a ball and a picnic and go onto the memorial ground for a kick about.
